Maine Student Data Privacy Work Day

METDA will be hosting a Maine Student Privacy Alliance workshop on December 14th from 9 to 3:30 at South Portland High School. This event will be open to all METDA members AND any interested parties. Please join us to learn about the Student Data Privacy work that is ongoing in the State. We will be working with founding member Steve Smith of the Student Data Privacy Consortium and Jennifer Day, Scarborough Technology Director, to provide training on the MESPA tool. Attendees will be given time to work with the system and get started by adding their first contracts.

The Maine Educational Technology Directors Association

The Maine Educational Technology Directors Association is a member-driven organization whose purpose is to advance and promote the effective use of information technology and services to improve the educational opportunities for students and teachers.

METDA is comprised of information technology leaders from all regions of Maine. Members provide and manage information technology services and facilities for school departments. These members play a strategic role in planning and shaping education technology infrastructures and policies.
